In our ongoing effort to provide our students with the very best Medical Transcription education, we’ve outlined some things that they must have. Fortunately, for a medical transcriptionist, a high typing speed is NOT among these since we have computer shortcuts, macros, templates. In addition, word expanders increase your speed AND efficiency so that a high speed is no longer mandatory. However, the ability to type accurately is priceless and is something we should strive for.
With our Typing Club keyboarding practice, our students get to practice as much or as little as they want. Assess your skills and then keep working on the deficiencies — that’s how perfection is achieved! Remember, in medical transcription, the faster you produce, the more you’ll make. Our goal is to help YOU make as much as possible.
