See what our graduates are saying about MT School of Canada and why they say it’s the best choice out there!
Your shipments of all the outside course materials were wonderfully prompt; I received most of them within a week of enrolling. Overall, I am finding the course to be well organized and logically presented. I really appreciate the time and effort that went into the preparation of this course. I thank you again for your consistent support and suggestions!
Just a note to let you know I have finished Module 25. I found the sentence clips quite challenging but educational. I specialized in Emergency Psychiatry many years ago as a new RN. Many things have changed In the field of Mental Health, but I certainly enjoyed the module and learned a lot.
I have just gotten to Module 10 and so far everything seems to be going great, I am enjoying looking up the words and seem to be able to get them for the most part. The only problems I seem to be having are with the commas, but after reading the forum it seems like this is a common issue. In order to work on the punctuation, I keep going over all the modules up to this point.
I really feel this school is the way to go. They are relatively new (although the founder is not) and they want their students to succeed. I also felt the other schools had way too many students to give me the personal attention I wanted. I DO get the attention I want here, and my questions are always answered whether it’s on the student forums or emailing my instructor! I thought about (deleted name) school too, but my many reasons above are why I decided on MT Advantage. 🙂 I love what am doing and I am very happy with my decision!
I am finding the course very interesting and enjoyable. It has also been challenging, especially Module 3.
I am just starting Module 5 and it is like being back in my old job. Finding it fun to see how much I have forgotten in the past 3 years. I am enjoying the computer courses as it is good review to go through the information. Technology is always changing so it is good to keep updated and also find out what has been forgotten when not used on a daily basis!
I have always been strong in Medical Terminology, but I have been amazed at how much I have actually forgotten since I took the course 7 years ago! I did find out though that retention of the terms is easier for me when they are learned in relation to each body system.
I really like the new look of the course website. It’s refreshing and seems faster too!
I am now beginning Module 10 . . . . It was very slow going at the beginning of this course for me with trying to juggle work, kids, family obligations and study time. I am happy to report that I am now able to put a few hours every day on it and have been since early December. I am loving it! It is my goal to be done with this course by the end of this summer if not earlier.
I am definitely finding the terminology easier as I move along in the course, as well the comma problem I was having seems to be correcting itself with practice.
I take my MT education very seriously; I know that I’m only going to be as good as my education. I am 42 years old and have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 10 years; I don’t want to waste my time. I want to have a successful career as an MT. Thank you for creating a fun, yet satisfying way to learn.
MT School of Canada offers a comprehensive interactive training program, an excellent MT.
I have just personally reviewed the online course. All I can say is that it’s AWESOME! I LOVE IT! It covers aspects of medical transcription that other programs don’t touch. For example, MT School of Canada offers training on research methods, how to better utilize your PC, and how to use MS Word more efficiently with macros, templates, and shortcuts. I like the fact that it covers Laboratory and Pathology which I have not found in any other course that I’ve seen. Just a quick review of this module gave me a better understanding of laboratory tests and pathology procedures. All of these things I’ve mentioned will assure that the students will be receiving the best possible training available. I highly recommend it…. I was able to work at home for several years to be with my children…. Her training techniques work, and I’m proof!
I am so excited to have gotten through the modules up to 5. The grammar was a great review! I had to rethink a lot of it and will go back and practice on some of the plurals.. I think they were the hardest!
Everything is going amazing! I am absolutely in love with your program. I have no concerns whatsoever. I actually have been trying to tell some of my family members to join your program! I did get my books which are amazing! Everything is coming along very well – I never have to stress or worry about this program.
I have been really enjoying this course. I love to learn about the human body. Quite a bit of information. No concerns or questions so far!
Just touching base with you for module 20. I am having great marks and I love love love! this unit!
I am beginning Module 15 – Endocrine System. I am doing great and enjoying the classes, information, and structure!
In November, I applied for a part-time MT position opening up at a local hospital. I had just received the first SUM CD and I might have just gone through the first section when I received a phone call from the hospital telling me that they wanted to offer me the job. There were 6 others to apply – 4 had at least 2 years experience and the other 2 had just graduated. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. This says a lot for MT Advantage. I had learned enough in those few months to pass up 6 other MT’s who were all further along than me. I was so thankful to have taken this course when there are so many others available. I hope everyone is able to have the kind of success that I have already found…halfway through the course!
Sure am enjoying learning about everything.
So far this course has been going well for me. I am glad to be able to reattempt my quizzes to correct myself. It helps me remember the right answer for the final exams.
I give you credit for the enormous amount of effort which must have gone into the research and preparation of these Modules and the entire program itself.
